The Argentine state will re-buy up to 20 percent of the airline it privatized in 1990, according to an agreement signed in Madrid yesterday.
The deal reached by Argentina government officials and the Spanish owners of Aerolineas Argentinas reshapes the stock distribution of the airline to allow the state to repurchase a minimum of five percent of the shares and a maximum of 20 percent.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced last week it has wrapped up its previously announced agreement with Goldman, Sachs & Co. to purchase shares of its common stock for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $165 million in an accelerated share repurchase (ASR) transaction.
The agreement allows the company to purchase 4,214,130 shares immediately from Goldman, Sachs & Co. and potentially receive additional shares upon completion of the transaction up to a maximum of 419,206 shares.

For the month of May 2006, Copa Holdings´ system-wide passenger traffic (RPM) increased 25.3 percent, while capacity (ASM) increased 26.6 percent.
As part of the strategic review of its financial investments, French hotel group Accor decided to divest most of its stake in Club Mediterranee, 22.9 percent of the capital on a total stake of 28.9 percent.
Accor will sell in the near future, in its best interests, 6.9 percent of Club Mediterranee. In this context, an agreement has already been signed with Generali France for a stake of 1.5 percent.
