Melia Athens won the “Most Creative Award” for employer branding for the hotel’s participation on the Melia Hotels International HR EMEA contest in Twitter.

Tranquility Beach Resort on the west coast of Dominica will be a member of Hilton Worldwide’s Curio collection of independent hotels. The resort is slated to open in 2018.

WoodSpring Hotels, the US extended-stay hotel company, and Gold Coast Premier Properties, LLC, announced the groundbreaking of the WoodSpring Suites hotel near Zoo Miami.

The five-acre Cliff Hotel & Spa (formerly Moon Dance Cliffs) on Negril’s west end in Jamaica will reopen under new ownership on Dec. 1, following a six-month closure for renovations.
