Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of a DoubleTree by Hilton in Merida – the largest city and capital of Mexico’s state of Yucatan. Built around an early 20th century mansion, the four-story DoubleTree by Hilton Merida is welcoming guests now.

ME by Meliá will launch its flagship hotel, the MELondon, in December. The hotel is Foster + Partners’ first U.K. hotel project and the first for which they have designed all of the interiors and exteriors.

Los Cabos is opening a new boutique property that will join the existing resorts in the destination as well as several new developments scheduled to open within the next two to three years.

The agreement to acquire the resort was successfully reached after ongoing discussions with the government of Grenada and represents the brand’s first property in this eastern Caribbean country.
