Fond Doux Holiday Plantation is making an effort to attract a more diverse group of travelers and the resort is urging tourism marketers to do the same. As part of this effort, the resort supported the Associate Member Task Force of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) during the organization's 37th Annual Convention and Career Fair in New Orleans.

Nassau Paradise Island, Bahamas is offering an Instant Savings program offering discounts off stays of four to six nights. Travelers who book an air-inclusive stay at participating properties will receive $350 discount off stays of six nights or longer, or $200 off on stays of four or five nights.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts launched a new website totally devoted to the Grand Collection, a portfolio of the brand’s luxury five-star properties. The new site features the nine Grand Collection properties around the world and a section for easier booking customization.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which added 12 new members to its collection in May, announced continued growth since the first quarter of 2012, including a 60 percent increase in new members compared with this time last year, as well as 13 new properties to join the collection from April to June 2012.

W Hotels Worldwide today announced it has signed an agreement with Terranum Hotels to debut a new W Hotel in Bogota, Colombia. Slated to open in 2014, W Bogota will be a part of a larger mixed-use development, with premium office space and high-end retail.
