Marriott will manage a business hotel in the Knutsford Park area of New Kingston, Jamaica. Construction is slated to begin in 2012 with a projected opening in 2014, according to Marriott. The property is owned by Pan Jamaican Investment Trust.

Bellafonte Chateau de la Mer Hotel is offering a “Drive and Dive” all-inclusive fall package featuring a seven-night stay with use of a pick-up truck with full insurance and six days of unlimited shore diving. Weekly rates begin at $699 per person, double occupancy and are valid through Sept. 30, 2011.

St. Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa has established a new online rewards booking engine that provides instant booking incentives for travel agents. The “My Booking Rewards” program allows agents to earn cash rewards and free nights for client bookings, and also designates their clients as VIPs at the resort.

The Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, in the British Virgin Islands, will join Marriott International’s Autograph Collection brand of properties in early 2012 under a franchise agreement with Scrub Island Development Group Ltd. The resort will be the Autograph Collection’s first in the Caribbean and Marriott International’s first property in the British Virgin Islands.
