A $15 million renovation project is planned for the 303-room Hilton Kingston in Jamaica. The hotel was purchased this week for $50 million by First Financial Caribbean, a Cayman Islands firm.
Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica, announced a hurricane policy that will be in effect throughout the 2008 hurricane season that starts on June 1, 2008. The policy was created to protect guests during a possible hurricane while the guest is registered at the resort.

Club Med Punta Cana announced this week the completion of the early stages of a $34 million renovation project, which includes a new spa, new suites, and facilities for children. The next stages, however, will force the popular Dominican Republic resort to shut its doors for nearly two months.
