Hilton Hotels Corporation announces the decision to terminate the lease agreement of the Hilton Tobago Golf & Spa Resort effective May 16, 2008. This in turn brings an end to Hilton’s management of the property.
Peter de Savary, chairman and founder of Port Louis, Grenada, has agreed to an investment development plan that calls for approximately 90 luxury villas, at between 4,000 and 6,000 square feet each, and apartments.
Baha Mar Resorts Ltd. signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts to manage the 850-room Wyndham Nassau Resort. Wyndham Hotels and Resorts will manage and oversee the daily operations of the resort and provide comprehensive operations, sales, marketing, revenue management and food and beverage support.
Wynn Resorts, Limited reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008. Net revenues for the first quarter of 2008 were $778.7 million, compared to $635.3 million in the first quarter of 2007. The revenue increase was driven primarily by a 61.4 percent increase in revenues at Wynn Macau.
