A former sugar plantation situated atop an ocean bluff at the northern tip of St. Lucia is the site of the 50-room Cap Maison, the destination’s first residence-style boutique hotel, scheduled to open next March. Construction currently is underway on the project, which will include private residences, guest rooms, and villa and studio suites, each with private butler service.
The newest addition to Grand Cayman’s accommodations inventory is the 26-unit Wembley building that opened last week as part of the 200-room Morritt’s Tortuga Club and Resort on the island’s East End.

RockResorts International will expand its international luxury portfolio with the addition of The Landings St. Lucia, a RockResort, slated to open in four phases beginning in December. The resort will be located on Rodney Bay on St. Lucia’s west coast.
The Villa Group announced that the Villa del Arco Beach Resort and Desert Spa is slated to open July 13 in Cabo San Lucas. The property lies adjacent to the Villa La Estancia and Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa in a gated, private enclave owned and operated by The Villa Group.
