Breezes Runaway Bay in Jamaica will be closed August 15 through December 15 for a $20-million all-out expansion. This remodeling will bring the number of restaurants to five, swimming pools to three, suites with private plunge pools to 40, and adds 32 keys raising the total room count at Breezes Runaway Bay to 266 rooms and suites.
The San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is opening a newly expanded and renovated casino, the first phase of a $35 million renovation project at the hotel. After adding 2,200 additional square feet, the Stellaris Casino is now 12,700 square feet and features 470 slot machines, 26 table games, a new casino bar, an expansion of the popular Wan Chai Noodle Bar and a Casino Pantry.
Travel Agent Global Financial Group has announced plans to develop Azulera Resort Village, a $300 million dollar resort community, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The resort village will overlook Brasilito Bay on the Pacific Coast, 40 miles from the international airport in Liberia.
