The Southern Caribbean island of Curacao has launched its “Dare to Explore” campaign, giving travelers a diverse range of unbeatable offers for every facet of their vacation experience. The promotion, available for travel now through June 1st, offers savings of up to 50% off from hotels, dive operators, island attractions and more.
As of March 1, 2014, Jamaican nationals travelling to Bermuda for tourism, business or on a work permit, will no longer require a visa or visa waiver to enter that country, provided that they are holding a multiple entry visa to the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.
The partnership, featuring Pressure's hit song "Virgin Islands Nice", will include a new 30-second national television commercial to support the summer campaign, which offers added value at participating hotels, restaurants and attractions across St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas.
Tourist arrivals to Belize rose by 6.1 percent in 2013, according to preliminary data released by the Caribbean Tourism Organization. The country received a total of 294,176 tourist arrivals, up from 277,136 tourist arrivals in 2012, according to the CTO.
According to the latest ETC report “European Tourism in 2013 – Trends & Prospects“, confidence is growing in the sector, as some of the factors underlying growth will persist into the next year.
