The Israel Ministry of Tourism this week is launching a new advertising campaign, “Come Find the Israel in You.” Conceived and created by Bodden Partners, the campaign will feature real travelers as they visit Israel for the first time and explore the country’s most popular sites.

The Sierra Gorda Ecological Group (GESGIAP) in Sierra Gorda, Mexico, has been announced as the benefactor of a grant from the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) that will provide funding necessary to turn the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve of northern Queretaro State into a world-class tourism destination.

According to an IANS report, the Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda will promote a new type of tourism, aimed at encouraging weddings, bachelor parties and honeymoon. Derede Samuel-Whitlock, Director Tourism, Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda said that being promoted as the ‘Month of Romance’.

The number of foreign tourists visiting Chile rose 9.2 percent during the first quarter of 2011 in relation to the same period last year, according to Tourism Secretary Jacqueline Plass. A record-breaking 1,043, 042 tourists entered Chile between January and March, at the height of the summer tourism season.
