The Moroccan National Tourist Office (MNTO) launched a global public relations campaign in seven countries throughout 2010. The campaign, called the Red By Marrakech tourism campaign, was created by Le Public Systeme, a Paris-based PR agency. BPCM New York will handle the North American PR operations.
Four Seasons’ plans to increase its presence in China significantly in the coming years, with openings scheduled in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shanghai Pudong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Suzhou and two planned properties in Sanya. The first to open will be Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou, slated for the third quarter of 2010.

More than 30 Cuban government and travel sector leaders took part in the U.S.-Cuba Travel Summit, which was held in Cancun last Friday. Led by Cuban Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and Ambassador Jorge Bolanos, chief of the Cuban Interests Section on Embassy Row in Washington, D.C., the delegation included government officials from the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Investment and the Ministry of Foreign Relations.
A Hyatt Hotels Corporation subsidiary and MKC-RosEvroDevelopment LLC signed a management agreement for Hyatt Regency Rostov-Don Plaza. The 220-room hotel in Rostov, Russia, will be part of a larger complex located on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street, one of the main streets of Rostov-on-Don.
