Travelport’s Online Check-in Tool Attracts More Carriers

Travelport has partnered with several new carriers to provide an efficient, online passenger check-in facility for travelers with Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan-created itineraries. Royal Brunei, Royal Jordanian, Gulf Air and the LAN Group are among the latest airlines to implement Travelport’s ViewTrip Online Check-In service, adding to the growing list of carriers from around the world who are leveraging the tool to streamline their passenger check-in process.

In addition to these carriers, Online Check-In is available with British Airways, Delta Air Lines, Frontier, Midwest Airlines, Swiss, Flybe, United, Air Canada, Ukraine International, Turkish Airways, bmi, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America, bringing the total number of participating carriers worldwide to 20.

By providing Online Check-In capabilities for travelers with Travelport-booked flights, Online Check-In with ViewTrip allows airlines to check-in more passengers online, thus easing lengthy check-in queues and reducing the costs and resources associated with managing passenger check-in at the airport.
