As it readies for completion of a $27 million renovation of the Wyndham Nassau Resort in the Bahamas, Cable Beach Resorts, owner and operator of the Wyndham in addition to the Radisson Cable Beach Resort (which becomes the Sheraton at Cable Beach Resort early this year), the Nassau Beach Hotel and the Cable Beach Resort & Crystal Palace Casino, will roll out a variety of new guest amenities and enhancements at the Wyndham beginning February 1.
InterContinental, owner of IHG properties throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, is shelling out a total of $95 million to upgrade, expand and renovate their hotels. Renovations kicked off in 2005 and will be completed by the end of 2007.

The Board of Directors of Andros Isle Development Corporation announces that Andros Isle Development Ltd., its wholly owned Bahamian subsidiary, has signed an agreement to acquire a 2,700-plus-acre tract on property near the city of La Romana, in the Dominican Republic.
