Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a leading innovator in cruise travel, has expanded its offerings for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, unveiling new itineraries across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles. With a focus on immersive experiences, the company is introducing a variety of voyages that allow travelers to explore European ports with minimal or no sea days, ensuring a deep dive into the destinations.

This season, NCL emphasizes its guest-centric approach by offering more seven-day European cruises that maximize time spent in port. The brand has added 22 overnight stays across Europe, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy local dining and nightlife. Notably, NCL will debut new ports of call, including Portree in Scotland, Leirvik in Norway, and Palamos in Spain, while also introducing Helsinki as a new homeport.

David J. Herrera, President of NCL, highlighted the company’s commitment to offering diverse vacation options. He emphasized that whether guests prefer short, intense voyages or extended explorations, NCL provides the flexibility to start and end their journeys in various European cities, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Among the 225 new departures, some stand out for their unique itineraries. For example, Norwegian Sun will offer Baltic sailings from June through October 2026, with routes that include stops in Denmark, Norway, Germany, and other Baltic countries. Norwegian Sky will embark on Northern Capitals voyages and British Isles explorations, while Norwegian Star will focus on Iceland and the UK, with opportunities for guests to extend their stay onshore before or after the cruise.

The Mediterranean and Greek Isles are also prominently featured in NCL’s 2026 offerings. Norwegian Viva, the newest ship in the fleet, will sail nine- and 10-day voyages through Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles routes, including overnight stays in Istanbul. Other ships like Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Gem, and Norwegian Pearl will explore the Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles, providing options for extended port visits and late-night departures.

In addition to European destinations, NCL’s 2026 season includes seven-day Western Caribbean voyages aboard Norwegian Escape, with itineraries that visit Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. The fall season brings Canada and New England voyages, including a first-time visit to Boston by a Breakaway Plus-class ship.

For those seeking more exotic adventures, Norwegian Spirit will offer South Pacific voyages from April through November 2026, with stops in New Caledonia, Fiji, the Samoan Islands, French Polynesia, and the Hawaiian Islands. These itineraries, combined with the unique “Fire and Ice” voyages to Alaska and Hawaii, offer a wide range of options for travelers looking to explore diverse landscapes and cultures.

NCL’s expanded 2026 itineraries reflect the company’s dedication to providing immersive, flexible, and guest-focused cruise experiences. With new ports of call, varied sailing lengths, and extensive overnight stays, NCL is set to offer travelers an unforgettable journey through some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
