Dominican Republic´s Cap Cana Residential Compound to Open First Infrastructure Projects this Month
The exclusive Cap Cana Residential Compound being built in the Dominican Republic will get its grand opening this month, sources close to the project informed this week.
Cap Cana –owned by Abrisa, an international consortium- features 6,177 acres of land, plus nearly 5 miles of unexplored beaches where construction of several hotels, villas, apartments and condos is now underway.
The opening of the Playa Caleton Club in April, comprising roughly 3 acres of land, will mark the kickoff of a long list of infrastructure projects due out this year.
Three of its five deluxe 18-hole golf courses will be designed by Jack Nickalus, a larger-than-life character in the realm of that sport.
In addition, a new marina suitable for over 3,000 150-feet-long boats, a new water supply system, roads and basic infrastructure are also being erected on the premises.
The same sources indicated the project will extend for ten years and will comprise 5,000 residential units and over 3,000 hotel rooms.
