Setai West, a West Coast hotel developer, announced the addition of two new locations to its hotel group. The new locations include projects planned for Mexico City and Hawaii.
Seven Stars Resort this July will hold a grand opening of its first phase on Brace Bay in Providenciales in Turks & Caicos (it soft opens in April). Resort owner Jak Civres hired developer James Slattery and Miami-based architect Robert Swedroe to build the property.
The Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, announced the first Radisson SAS Hotel to open in Madrid. Slated to open in late 2009, the Radisson SAS Hotel Madrid Prado will add 54 guestrooms to the Rezidor portfolio. By 2009, Rezidor will open 20,000 new rooms in total.
Coinciding with the FITUR international tourism fair held in Madrid, the world’s largest vacation company Sol Meliá announces the opening of two luxurious hotel locations in 2008: the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora Resort in Tenerife (Spain) and Gran Meliá Shanghai Hotel (China).
The Spanish group NH Hotels is running the Edenh Real Arena Hotel in the Dominican Republic, the first facility administered by the consortium in this Caribbean island.
The consortium H10 Hotels will run its five establishments in the Caribbean region under the brand Ocean by H10 Hotels.
