Grand Caribbean Resorts, Ltd., Bahamian-based resort management company, is opening of Grand Isle Villas, a new seaside residential resort. Grand Isle Villas, located in beautiful Great Exuma, Bahamas, is a new community of 72luxurious ocean and golf course villas located within the 500-acre Emerald Bay Resort.
Following the $25 million renovation of Dunn´s River in Jamaica, Sandals´ are embarking upon two multi-million dollar expansion projects. Beaches Turks & Caicos is under going a $68 million expansion meanwhile $65 million has been invested into the development of a Mediterranean Village at Sandals Antigua Caribbean Village & Spa, which is set to be completed in November 2006.
Hilton Worldwide Resorts will showcase at Premium Travel its new luxurious five star properties in the Seychelles and China. The show, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on April 27 and 28 this year, will enable buyers of luxury travel products to discover the first-class facilities and quality service offered by Hilton in the Seychelles and China. “Hilton Worldwide Resorts is looking forward to promoting its new resort openings at Premium Travel this year. The show will be an ideal place to present the portfolio´s high-end resorts and new product initiatives to industry buyers,” said Philippa Gould, Director of New Product Development and Resorts for Hilton International.
Guavaberry Resort & Country Club, a 1,500 acre luxury community located near Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, recently opened three luxury villas and has five more under construction. Marcello Beron, sales director at Guavaberry Resort & Country Club, said the new villas range in size from 3,000 square feet of living space to 5,000 square feet and are priced from the $350,000s. The villas under construction will open in the summer, Beron said.
Los Angeles-based Kor Hotel Group announces the launch of the phase-two sales campaign for its new Viceroy Anguilla Resort & Residences, leading into the property´s second major sales event scheduled for May of this year. The resort project marks Kor´s first overseas exportation of the Viceroy brand´s signature design, luxurious amenities and outstanding service, as well as its first expansion into the burgeoning industry of resorts with residential components. Construction of the project is set for completion in 2008.
Strategic Hotel Capital, which operates as Strategic Hotels and Resorts, said it will build a luxury, all-suite resort and 55 private homes on close to 50 acres in Nayarit, Mexico. Strategic paid $29.5 million to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts for its unfinished La Solana Hotel and Villas property in Nayarit, which is adjacent to the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, which Strategic already owns.
